Pocket DiapersPocket cloth diapers are a two-piece diapering system that consists of a pocket diaper and a stuffable cloth diaper insert.
The pocket diaper consists of an outside and inside liner. The inner layer is usually single layer of fleece, organic cotton velour, or bamboo. The purpose of the inner layer is to wick wetness away from the baby’s bottom and into the cloth diaper insert. The outside layer of a pocket cloth diaper is usually* a waterproof layer of PUL that keeps the liquid from leaking out.
*fitted pocket cloth diapers do not have a waterproof PUL and require some type of diaper cover.
